Ive had no end of trouble with the rc that came with my air2s. It randomly loses connection, is not compatible with iOS and the only way to get files from it is to remove the sd Card. It’s a cumbersome, awkward incompatible brick. When it works it’s fine but having little faith with a drone is...
But I could see where I was going in the goggles. I was flying to the middle to turn left to head upstream. The drone did the opposite of what it should have done.
Thanks. If the above is what happened wouldn’t it be common knowledge to not fly under bridges particularly when going under yourself? Surely if the connections good 4 miles away it should cope 15’ below the controller?
I’m not an expert in any mode but surely what I was asking the drone to do...
Hi, thanks. I have done all you suggest and have the video from the goggles. I am waiting t8 hear from DJI but the bridge span was large and speed about 2 mph. It was as though the drone was magnetically attracted to the rock!
I was stood on a bridge and lost all control as it passed underneath. No warning, nothing. It felt like the object avoidance went in reverse sucking the drone into the rocks.
DJI FPV.
DJI is investigating but this thought struck me as the only reason for the accident.
Thoughts please😩
In 3 months with my Air 2 s I’ve had 3 occasions when the smart controller lost contact, 2 with red screens which is terrifying at first. I now just accept it and wait for RTH to bring my baby back. It does it for no apparent reason even when controller and drone are within .5 km. I was going to...
My smart controller isn’t compatible with mini 2 DJI told me so I use separate controllers for mini 2 and Air 2 s. Whilst I am not an expert by any means I don’t live too far away as the drone flies and would be happy to meet up and help if I can
