Why the mavic doesnt move in the exact straight path ?

Perhaps the camera gimbal's yaw is not perfectly centered. I had this problem with my first Mavic. They had me send it back for a replacement. It was only off by 2 to 3 degrees, but it was enough to be annoying. If only they let you adjust it in the software like you can with the roll angle...

Gimbal Yaw Adjustment (FPV is Crooked)

DJI did the repair for free. It sounds like they replace the gimbal assembly.

    Part 107 Question

IACRA - Federal Aviation Administration Start here. You basically have to create an account and apply for an airman certificate. After a few days, you will get a temporary cert to print out. The hard license will come in the mail weeks later. Sent from my Nexus 5X using MavicPilots mobile app

Gimbal Yaw Adjustment (FPV is Crooked)

After some troubleshooting with DJI, they want me to send it in for repair. :/

Gimbal Yaw Adjustment (FPV is Crooked)

I tried the IMU calibration (with props on and off) but the issue remains. It's been almost a week and DJI has not responded to my inquiry. I will update if that changes.

Gimbal Yaw Adjustment (FPV is Crooked)

Exactly! The instructions say to remove the props and the video shows them on. Maybe I can just try it both ways and test after each.

Gimbal Yaw Adjustment (FPV is Crooked)

Thanks for the suggestion. Are we supposed to remove the props when doing an IMU calibration? The instructions in the app say "yes" but the pictures show the props still on. Seems like that might make a slight difference.

Gimbal Yaw Adjustment (FPV is Crooked)

Is there any way to adjust the gimbal's yaw? I only see a roll adjustment. I have a support inquiry open with DJI, but I figured it might be worth asking here as well. Since receiving my Mavic, the gimbal has always pointed approximately 3.5 degrees to the left when powered on (flying or not)...
