well a small airplane broke apart in flight. caught fire on the way down. parts were scartered a couple blocks apart, 4 on the ground dead, pilot dead. one house burned up. what new rules on them? no way a drone could have caused this much damage and lose of life.

not a troll. just no proof of a drone in the water, to me says it is not there.and as another stated 300 trillion gallons of water, there will be no effect to anything in the spring. but then the eico nuts say one drop of crud oil in a 10 square mile lake is pollution.

peoples words are not treated as proof. if the park service could not find it after some years, it is not there. they used a helo many times, even (O no the horror), a drone to search many times. heck in a court of law the last thing either side wants to use is a "unbiased person"

as per the story. it was reported to have crashed into the waters. but never been seen or proof of it ever going into the waters.

has there ever been proof of a drone crashing into the spring? i have only seen a report where somebody (unnamed source) said it happened, but in years of searching,the park service using a helicopter, and there OWN DRONE. have never found one in the spring. no i am not saying one should fly...

so whats wrong with a lock down in a prison? no problem having the convicts locked up in there cells 24-7-365. as prison should be a place even they do not want to be. so as maybe a deterrent to doing crime. far easier to control them if they are locked up in the cell. as opposed to freely...

i fly. i know positively where i tend to fly there is 1000% no chance of having a problem or conflict with any maned aircraft. with that said one time a cal fire helo and crews, were doing practice there, but i had no drone in the air that day anyhow, as this area is also a free fire target...

i would think a wheel or tracked unit could do this job much easier. as no need to hover in place could not hit a wall and crash as easily. as wheel or tracked units do not need a compass or gps to drive around. can carry more weight (instruments) and have a transmitter to sound out the tunnel.

but what if the person in "control" that you need to contact refuses to allow, or makes it very hard to contact them? aka: not replying to a email, or returning a phone call, and would ONLY talk over the phone from the front desk at the airport, aka his secretary desk. he was never around. and...
