It is only a matter of them allocating resources to it if they really wanted to get it done. They obviously don't! care enough. Litchi and Dronelink are far superior and were done on a shoe string compared to the revenue of DJI. Another case of BS followed by little action.

Be sure to put each battery in, wait 20 seconds or so after startup and then check for updates again. Each time on my other two batteries there was a short update that started at 70%.
