When flying my M2Z, video mode exposures look fine. When I switch to photo mode, the screen and photos become greatly overexposed. The camera settings are set on automatic. Changing to M allows good exposures. Question: Why does auto work on video but not on photo? Is there something I am missing?

Thanks, but I did not associate Safe and Max to Slow and Fast. I really don’t understand these as Fast also covers the Slow range as well.

Searched but could not find the answer I needed. On the Mavic 2, when initiating active track, I get a slow and fast option button on the DJI GO 4 app screen. What is the purpose of these options?

What actually will happened to older drones under proposed new FFA rules? Will they no longer be allowed to fly by law or will they be physically unable to fly because of software/firmware block?

It is possible someone bought it from someone other than Amazon and tried to return it to Amazon and the serial number did not match the original sale ID. I know this is not logically too clear but brings up something close to what might’ve happened. ?.

I am with you on this. Yesterday I was flying my M2Z and took off, rose straight up to 380ft, looked up and couldn’t acquire the bird until I moved it around a bit. I know my eyes are not the eyes they used to be, but.... unaided 1/2 mile, one , two?

I agree with you very much- well said. Do you think VLOS rules for the present technological state of the M2 drone is of primary importance or really just a good sense suggestion like yellow road signs for drivers?

I have been doing some more thinking about the VLOS issues and safety concerns. Does keeping a drone within VLOS really ensure safe operation of a drone? In order to drive a car, most countries require a drivers license yet this does not ensure a safe driver. I believe reasonable laws should be...

TheDRONEranger above has posted some very interesting and sensible comments. VLOS is very nebulous in that it is so unspecific as to be almost ridiculous. If the VLOS rule was really of public safety concerns, a specific distance would be (should be) specified and mandated to drone...
