I have a samsung Note8, essentially the same phone. Difficult to see anything in the sun. Interestingly, my Garmin Oregon GPS is excellent in the sun. The more sun, the better the picture. why can't they apply the same technology to call phones and tablets?

Yeah I had that happen today...descends in tap fly mode. (Free mode) Nothing in the manual about that.
