DJI has just confirmed to me that it is a bug so watch out! The drone maybe transmitting uuid and flight details behind your back even if you had it turned off before

Are you speculating? Not sure DJI would have included an on off option if it had fake functionality

So why did they bother with a menu with on / off and why has that menu now been removed in the current version?

Until the current version, I could stop the transmission of the uuid and additional information from my Mini 2 so I have to disagree (please see the screenshots)

After installing or upgrading to DJI Fly app version 1.4.12, the "AEROSCOPE" menu option is no longer present! This used to allow pilots to activate or deactivate the remote UUID transmission (I have a Mini 2). Makes me wonder if this means that the drone is now transmitting remote id...

I just installed the latest FLY app and to my shock, it appears that the "Remote ID" option that used to be in the safety menu has disappeared. I've tried with my Mini 2 on and off but it's gone! Does this mean that the drone is transmitting ID information behind our backs now? Anyone else seen...
