It was certainly an eye-opening experience. I learned that I need to take much more time to learn how to fly before I really take it out and start doing what I really want to do with it.

Thanks. The drone was already returned and replaced. They told me they think there was an issue with the battery.

That part was my fault. I panicked and pushed the stick the wrong way then lost sight of it behind a tree. Once it was behind the tree I must have pushed the stick again and crashed it.
