Just wondering (also a newbie to litchi - considering buying it) How do you set altitude of the waypoints, how do you prevent crashing into hills, trees, etc? Do you just have to belive that the underlying map is correct?

But the fastest-going ones are those with a spoilers on them and white go fast stripes along. But the spoilers are most important :)

Any chance some 3rd party app like litchi helping to get raws in shorter intervals? Just thinking, this isn't really a pain in the ***. Technically, it should be possible to do at least 5 seconds. With a fast card, I mean it is RAW, so no processing, am I right? No processing means just feed it...

Colors are easy, but how to set the render to get a decent quality 4k video to upload to YouTube, that is the question. At least for me...

I am in a similar situation. Nothing to do with computer performance, I have a beast of a machine. It's about the bitrate and codec of the render. I watched some videos with many contradictory recommendations. Hard to tell, but MPEG 4 with huuuge bitrate works quite well in 4k But still premiere...

Could you show a piece of the scene with some details (ie border of the pier vs the sea) zoomed in say 400% or 800% of one original image and the upscaled version? That would be much more telling the story...

Exactly. And even with video, I can imagine all pre-planned shot where grad would be useful. For photography, definitely yes. ND no question. Colored imho useless, that can be always done in Photoshop. Overexposed bleached parts in the clouds can't...

You can adjust the settings a bit. I would help you but I can speak in those medieval terms... I have wind speed height in 50 meters as I don't fly higher usually (its probably something like 333 horse strides or fathoms in the UK) and so on... You can adjust to whatever make you fell ok. My tip...

Actually it would be a good idea to have the top 1/3 dark ND filtered and keep the horizon on that lvl by software control, that way you can get nice landscape shots even if it's cloudy or overcast. Wouldn't work for dynamic videos though...
