Get a Smart controller or a Crystal Sky...I use both with no issues

You have to delete the app, then reinstall from the dji website directly...playstore download does not work.

Try downloading directly from DJI website...Play store version doesn't work with new Android OS

I've read other threads and others have used different devices and settings to get lag down to 50ms....

It is possible to use the Goggles as a monitor using HDMI..I use a Miracast device to mirror my smartphone to the goggles....but there is a lag...at least a full second....fly with caution and only in open areas

It possible to use Dji Goggles with MM. I use a miracast device which basically mirrors the smartphone display onto the goggles via HDMI...only issue is there is lag/delay.(1-2sec.!).. wih this setup I only fly in open areas.

I use a Crystalsky now, best brightness but expensive and heavy. I normally use a Samsung S8 perfect for quick flights, Samsung Tab A 8.0" ,nice large screen with an around the neck holder.(keeps it closer to the eyes and independent of the controller good for phones too)

Works great ...no issues

Unless you a Crystal Sky display and use the HDMI ouput.
