Air 3s Batteries Stuck in Hybernation or Done?

Im trying that now. But this also doesn’t explain why my RC isnt working. Is that even the same type of battery?

Air 3s Batteries Stuck in Hybernation or Done?

Im a fairly new pilot. Ordered the Air 3S day of launch. Flew 8 times but being in the northeast its gotten cold. Last Flight was Dec 24th. Until today March 8. So about 3 months. I thought i charged them all just before flight. And both batteries and controller looked to charge fine. Now...

Any Ai3 3 s arriving in the USA?

My guess is that it depends on your state and where its coming in from. Im here in NYC and I ordered mine day of release. Mine came in and was delivered with zero issue. Even a day early. Might be i missed all the nonsense. But i dunno. I know Florida already has some crazy drone laws and...

    Case for Air 3s

I think its just preference. I find it easier to take out the foam, put it on my drone and then let that help guide it in.

Prop Guards: How Do We Feel About Them?

Yep. Can confirm. Just pulled the trigger. My DJI credit was $17.88 and the Mavic Air 3 (3s compatible) prop guards were $17. 👍🏻 I figure in the end for something thats literally free. Its better to have and not need than to need and not have.

Prop Guards: How Do We Feel About Them?

I want to thank all for the replies. I feel like the general consensus is that while not necessary all the time, and most of the time can be a hinderance to optimal flight performance. They are good to have on hand. Just incase a job calls for some close quarters operations. Im leaning towards...

Prop Guards: How Do We Feel About Them?

So with my recent purchase of the Mavic Air 3S Fly More Combo, DJI has given me a $17 credit for their shop. Im not really looking to make any big purchases in the near future. However I saw they have prop guards for basically what I have in credit. Would these be worth it? Does anyone here...

    HI FROM NYC

Calvert Vaux Park and Marine Park. Each has a designated area within the park to fly. And both need an AMA membership. Not sure when ill get to them. But ill post about it when I do.

    HI FROM NYC

AMA membership is $85 for a year. Theres like a more limited membership for $48 a year. It comes with other perks like a magazine and cheaper liability insurance. Havent looked too much into that. As for locations im pretty sure they have some fields in New Jersey. They are located all over...

Any Ai3 3 s arriving in the USA?

Ordered mine on the day it was released. (Oct 14) got mine on the 21st. A day earlier than originally expected.

    Hello from NYC

I joined the AMA and had my first flight out of their airfield in Corona Park in Flushing Meadows. I believe they have two more air fields out in Brooklyn both near Coney Island. Which im looking forward to checking out. Corona Park was okay. Its small and not the best views. You can see the...

    HI FROM NYC

Well people are part of it. But its also from where you can take off and operate from. Pretty much no where. Unless you apply for a permit and are doing commercial work. Recreational flying is pretty much relegated to parks. The laws are changing little by little. But as of now its still...

    HI FROM NYC

Im not OP. But im also a novice part 107 flyer who just picked up an Air 3s and live in NYC. To answer your question, from what ive been reading flying is restricted mostly to AMA owned airfields. Which thats how I did my first flight. I joined the AMA and flew out of Corona Park in Flushing...

My experience with a Karen who pinned my car in to ask for documentation

One of the reasons I opted for the RC2 was so I had my phone free to film in case i was in mid flight and had some aggressive random citizen confront me. You handled it real well.

HOW TO: Avoid seagulls with your drone.

Recently for me I was at max alt that I set and a huge hawk flew up to it. Lucky for me in my panic I controlled the drone and made it move abruptly towards the hawk. Which it might have taken as aggressive. So my drone was unscathed and the hawk never came back. But man. What an experience.
