I have a Mini 2 in the closet somewhere but an iPad Air 2 that I use more often. Not sure the Mini 2 is up to par spec-wise.

Welcome to MavicPilots! Got my MP a few days ago and have only done a test flight. Can't wait to try it "for real" but want to get some more practice time in.

Saw the Cricket version at target for the same price, and I think that's how much it is at Best Buy. Waiting on my rewards points from BB that I got buying the MP itself and I'll probably pick one up.

I really want the MavMount but the portability of the Skyreat is probably what I'll use. Does it hold a full sized iPad well? Using my iPhone X now but don't want to do that because of size/notifications, etc. Would rather use a dedicated unit, just not sure I want it as big as the 9.7 iPad!

Welcome to MavicPilots! I couldn't wait either and got the Pro but considered the Air as well. Don't think you can go wrong with either :) Waiting for my first flight though I have it all setup (firmware, etc.) Hoping this weekend though we may be getting some wet weather.
