Many thanks, really appreciate your feedback. Hope you can get a M3P one day, although I think the M2P is still a great bird with excellent IQ. Take care.
That's exactly my experience with the new M3P using the 70mm tele lens. Once locked, the focus stays on the subject and never miss or refocus. I only shoot ships and vessels around here so perhaps this kind of subject don't pose real challenges to the AF.
As per my own experience I never needed to change from AF to MF in all of my drones during all those years using the wide angles lenses from 22mm (Air 2S), 24 mm (Phantom 4 and Mavic 3) and 28mm (Mavic 2 Pro). I was very surprised with the 70mm lens on the new M3P, as it also acquires, locks and...
Hi Jonathan, I hope all is well out there. I've been doing this work at the seaport of Santos for about seven years and I've developed my own techniques after more than two thousand flights. I usually perform the first aerial shot three kilometers away from the home point in order to reach the...
Thank you, Sir Maxwell. The novelty of the zoom made me extend the movie more than I usually do. So many new views
to explore what I do that is almost a new drone. Regards.
Film captured yesterday at Santos Seaport (-23° 58' 33.60" S -46° 17' 20.02" W) showing the capabilities of the new 3x optical zoom.
Used the ND16 filter from the kit at 4k 30fps. Thank you.
The topic subject says "Mavic 3 Pro 3x lens - 12MP or 48MP?" so I thought I was analysing two different samples
captured by the 3x optical zoom. What I mean about a better suited subject is one without a bright flat surface against a dark background as it frequently shows some kind of smearing...
The samples above posted by waynorth show a visible loss of quality from 12 to 48mp, mainly around the edges which were rendered fuzzy. Even so, the quality of the 3x optical zoom in 12mp isn’t that great as it also lacks sharpness and looks way too “digital” for my taste. Maybe the test should...
Currently using a Pgytech OneGo 18l and it is great. Enough space for the drone, 04 batteries, RC-N1 controller and the RC Pro. Inside the pockets I carry 02 sets of Freewell filters and the anamorphic + wide-angle set, plus my I pad mini 6. The quality of the materials is excellent and the pack...
Neither with my RC Pro, nor with the Mini 3 DJI RC. Both were turned on and left for hours inside my living room. Nothing happened and "locating" message persisted. Just for the sake of curiosity, I then turned the Mini 3 and RC on, put the drone outside, wait for satellite and home-point...
So basically what you are saying is that if I leave my RC Pro turned on enough time to get a GPS fix inside my apartment, the "locating" will eventually turn to "Recommended zones". Is that correct? Thanks.
