    Colorado aspen were better than expected this year......SW Colorado experienced significant drought conditions this year. These pictures are from the Kebler Pass area, which is northwest of Crested Butte.

    Fergy has a tremendous idea. PBS would jump all over it. You might need to increase the length a big to fit the allotted time for a 30 minute PBS show, but who knows? Ask around!!!!

    Great video of SE Utah........ you captured some super geological features. I especially liked the Bentonite Hills.....extreme colors and topography in the Jurassic Morrison Formation. Thanks for posting the video.

    Great shot of Factory Butte.......the cap is a shoreface sandstone that prograded over the gray marine shales below. Love the landforms in the shale.

    Dale, please confirm that the column with gray shales to the left is Factory Butte. The erosional features in the marine shale are dramatic.
