Hi everyone,
September often treats hikers kindly, but up high snow can still surprise you: the day before our tour it poured, and overnight the first peaks were dusted white.
Perfect timing for our hike: roughly 1300 meters of elevation gain and plenty of extra weight because both drones came along. With three spare batteries each, you definitely feel it on the climb.
Bottom line: a gorgeous area with wide-open views and fresh new snow along the ridgelines.

side note:
Geographically, some of those peaks are part of the Schwyz Alps—both ranges sit within the Swiss Alps. Because this tour starts near Glarus and that name is more recognizable to many viewers, I’m using “Glarus Alps” here as a practical shorthand.
