Getting rid of the "High altitude. Fly with caution' warning sticker

I ran out of patience with DJI and this issue. Since I'm completely addicted to flying the Avata now I had almost forgotten about this bug. Last time I had contact with DJI and they acted like this was the first time hearing about it, another 40 minutes on hold and then a disconnect, I gave up...

    Too nervous to fly

I have a similar inhibition to flying my drone as I'm disabled in a wheelchair. So when I fly it any distance but right near me I'm constantly worried about crashing it and not being able to retrieve it. I've used the turtle mode on my Avata once and thanks to DJI it worked but not after about...

Prop screws are way too tight? (mini 3)

Assuming you have read this entire thread...you can help yourself getting a IFIXIT kit that has a much better driver handle and use a jis tip size J0 or J00. The kits handle will give you much better leverage. Just don't try to use a phillips head tip as they are not the right size. After using...

Prop screws are way too tight? (mini 3)

Spending the day looking into these screws holding the props on I'll have to disagree with the advice the DJI issued screw driver is junk and should be discarded. On the contrary, the DJI fits these screws the best of any of the screwdrivers I have. Additionally in the M3P user manual it...

Prop screws are way too tight? (mini 3)

I have the 'ifixit' kit for many years and I made my first attempt in changing prop on my M3P. The PH0 is probably the correct size for these screws but maybe slightly oversized. I fought this for a few hours and worried I damaged the screws to the point I would have to send it back to DJI. When...

confused using pano on the M3p?

finding a part of my issue is/was a corrupted micro card. Not sure to the exact situation. It's a card I bought from DJI but after a full format out of the drone I finally got things working OK. Still doing some more testing. Seems the M3P is more sensitive to a card that isn't just right then...

confused using pano on the M3p?

I'll give it a try, thanks. Better cropping results would be a big bonus. Thanks again.

confused using pano on the M3p?

Thanks much for the reply. I'll check it out this weekend. I'm running Win11 on all my PC's and my laptop has the option of the 'tag' column but I like to use my desktop to work with the drone files and that PC doesn't show the 'tag' option. I'll have to investigate further. Thanks again.

confused using pano on the M3p?

A old Spark flyer and use to use the DJI Media Maker to stich the photos with the Spark. Does the M3P do it internally or need a external program like the Spark? I've tried taking a couple 180 panos with the M3P and it has never produced a completed pano. Or is there a free 3rd party program...

Getting rid of the "High altitude. Fly with caution' warning sticker

Well a bigger issue came up when I flew over the weekend at above 9,000'. Had the normal warning flags at startup but five minutes into the flight a much larger warning (almost the entire screen) would pop up with the High Altitude warning at the top and all the altitude sliders below (RTH, Max...

Getting rid of the "High altitude. Fly with caution' warning sticker

If you read the post just prior to your's it will explain to the best of my ability what I'm experiencing.

Getting rid of the "High altitude. Fly with caution' warning sticker

You can tap on the initial warning you get on bootup (has a orange dot on the left of the warning) and it will temporarily disappear but shows up again (and permanently) at the top of the screen, left of center w/o the orange dot. When I talked to DJI on Monday we walked through a complete...

Getting rid of the "High altitude. Fly with caution' warning sticker

Just finished one of the more difficult customer service phone calls of my life but I was able to communicate the issue to DJI and they have opened a case# and will be looking into this issue. They tell me this is the first time they have heard about this and it is NOT the way it's suppose to...

    A joy few will know...

As a retired Vietnam helicopter pilot and a 15,000 hour civilian pilot I can't tell you the joy it gives me to experience a push of a button and a aircraft returning to my feet when I command. It gives me goosebumps.
