If I bring a drone from UK to use here temporarily in USA, do I have to register and mark it?
Is there some reciprocal arrangement with other countries?

Whew! I didn't realise I was so busy!!
I think it's probably very difficult to soot down a small drone like a MP. Firstly if it is passing overhead at 100ft AGL it would be out of range of most shotguns and difficult to follow through a scope. Also sighting a rifle scope is based on horizontal attitude of the muzzle so drop rates and...

So why did DJI fit a dome. It's not just to protect the gimbal. It's transparent and tries to keep some optical correctness over a wide range of gimbal movement. They also provide a rubber cover to prevent the dome being scratched and degrading video. Not all video is for production but also for...
LivinLarge (I like the sentiment!), Designing a waterproof device and retro-waterproofing are two quite different tasks and we are only talking about rain proofing and not floating or submersible. (In USA, how would the FAA handle a submarine drone!? Probably pass it off to the Coast Guard!)...
That's foolish if you transport it. The gimbal is very delicate. DJI didn't put it there for show.
I have my complete kit in a Pelican Case with foam padding. I can drop it without fear of damage. And it sits in the back of the Land Rover Defender getting all kinds of rough rides.

I see you've never had a MP open.
There are many different modules on it. Some moisture proofing is already present but on the one I had water in wasnt 100 % covered where it was applied. Also there are a lot of RF circuits that wont like liquids that will change the dialectric constant and add...
As soon as I pressed "Post reply" I thought of something else.
Motors.
The are somewhat protected by the props but post flight, I would blow through them with dry compressed air. There are air-duster aerosol cans for this. I would exercise some caution with this as I dont know the exact...
I have thought about this recently.
If you want to dedicate this as a rain flyer only and you dont mind sacrificing foldability, here are a few untried suggestions.
Silicone seal the folding joints. If you don't want to do a permanent seal, use plenty of Vaseline to prevent water ingress each...
