I have made my own clamp using a sheet of Perspex and a small hinge. The tension is provided by a spring. It will take a mobile (my motorola g9 including the protect cover) up to my iPad air2 Also with the protection cover. Works really well.
It seems to be generated by commercial Survey Monkey. That was the window that opened on completion. I thought it was direct from CAA according to the logo.
I have also let one of my batteries run right down but luckily it did recharge after some time. However several times I have allowed a mobile lipo battery to run right down and could only get it to charge again if I gave it a boost voltage for a few minutes, about 30% higher than normal.

Sorry to hear of the pro loss. I always aim to come back and land with around 50% charge. I also have my M1P covered in reflective tape. That way if I lose it, night time would be the best time to look for it with a bright torch.
I’ve several times got a phone battery going again that would not charge because it had gone too low. I put a power supply on it for a few minutes at around 8 volts and it comes to life again. Then can be charged normally.

Was wondering the same myself. Apart from remote identification we can comply as for tripod setting it does give us the slow speed required for flying close to people. I fly an M1P.
My iPad and smart phone both use usbC so I leave the connection tail on the controller and fit a usb to type C adapter on to the charger usb. That way I always use the usb C via the tail to charge as it has no orientation problems.
