Actually, even if set to Sport, it will boot up in Normal mode next time as a safety feature. To use Sport again, you have to switch to Normal and then back to Sport. -

I've never seen a place where I couldn't launch from or land on, unless you are standing in sand or tall grass. I have seen quite a few cut fingers on this forum though, be careful.

RHave you got Model Auto-Update enabled. That will install model updates automatically that are updates but not full firmware updates. There wouldn’t be a firmware increment for that. I’m never a first day updater.

RHave the same issue... I had to take apart the RC2 and... it looks like a faulty capacitor. Im attaching pictures. It would help if anyone can Identify the board.
