Hi Yes, I use a 49" with a 34" on top. Also have the same 49" here at home, and it's fine. Still have not found the reason for the lagg but got the MPC-HC player to work fine. It also works fine inside Premiere and After Effects. Thank you for your suggestion! Fly safe.
