2 Pro Ambassador International Bridge in Detroit with the new Gordie Howe bridge under construction

None at all. I parked and launched from the park on the south ide of the bridge. No issues. I also went over to Zug island to recon the steel mill there. That was a different issue but they were nice about it!

Has anyone ever flown a drone, above the trees, over the USA road known as the Tail of the Dragon?

I dont believe thats a no-fly zone so I would think youre OK. There are a handful of pull-offs on the road to launch from. Weekends are busiest and be safe- best to stand behind your car as a barrier as there are accidents almost daily.

2 Pro Ambassador International Bridge in Detroit with the new Gordie Howe bridge under construction

Was in Detroit the other day as some moody weather rolled in. Lucked out with 2 Great Lakes freighters drag racing down the river also. The new Gordie Howe International bridge is under construction in the distance. All of the clouds and haze gave it an industrial 1920's feel, but in reality...

low flying helicopters or small planes suddenly appearing in airspace?

I was photographing a train crossing a river and there were power lines running parallel to the tracks. After the train passed I flew up and over the power lines and landed. The props were still spinning on the drone in my hand when a power company helicopter popped UP over the tree tops then...

    Found drone

I found this post while looking for my stolen drone and find it... peculiar... My vehicle was stolen in San Antonio, Feb of 2022 and the drone(along with a lot of other personal items) was inside. The vehicle was found a month later, traced back to a chop shop in town, but naturally all of the...

If you find a Drone/UAS what to do to help "reunite" it to the owner (USA specific)

My MP2 was stolen from my vehicle. I reached out to DJI requesting it be deactivated or at least provide me with a location. The general response was if someone sends it in for repair they promise they wont fix it... Gee, thanks.

Air 2 Flying inside the clouds

Wouldnt this type of activity be indirect violation of VFR, or basic line of sight rules?

    Las Vegas

Likely not. Im saying this without checking the chart so dont beat me up too much. Keep in mind the strip is next to the airport and there is a huge amount of air traffic. Dont forget about the sightseeing helicopter tours on constant rotation.

    Landing in a boat

Dont do it.... Been there, barely survived. I will never do it again. If you must, plan to return early with plenty of battery. Stay close to shore incase boat landing doesnt work out- you can land safely on shore then retrieve the bird.

Air 1 Field of Dreams Video - from the sky

2 Pro Field of Dreams movie location

My wife and I visited the Field of Dreams movie location in Iowa recently which is an active baseball field and the house is also available for tour. I was amazed that drones are welome here. I did a short video to get the overview. SOUND ON Yes, you can even walk out of the corn onto the...
