I'm thinking about pulling the trigger as well, but the price plus shipping is pretty steep for what it is and I am in no hurry at the moment.

I took my mavic out this weekend to fly but it was very windy here in Houston, TX. Hovering the mavic was jumping all over and I ended up just landing it and not flying. Good to hear that others have experienced the jumping around as well.
I am a beginner so I am being extra cautious before...

Has anyone in Texas successfully purchased a standalone policy through State Farm? I just contacted a local agent who replied by saying they do offer drone coverage but not as a standalone... I wonder if they are just trying to upsell me a bundle for the coverage.
I dont think 7-10 days is very accurate...it is more just luck. However, I think the newegg sales have been the most organized and have consistently been shipped sooner than the advertised ship date. My guess is that all the non-fly more combo orders will ship by next week.

Slightly out of the way, but it is located on the same side of town I live and work in so it's not the end of the world. The FedEx customer service rep told me she would notify the ship center so they can pull the package when the driver returns and have it ready for pickup today.
