Why are there so many upset people about the platinum? So many negative things to say about DJI...I'm just as guilty. OK, it's not a major overhaul, but there is some improvement (supposedly), and if you don't want new props, don't buy them! Do we really have such a dislike for DJI for them...

Not back ordered!! For the love of Pete... They have never been on sale, which they'd have to be to be back ordered. If anything, they are on "pre-sale". This is exactly how "fake news" gets around...

My point is that of all the things DJI could work on to improve the Mavic, they chose propellers...to increase flight time on a drone that already is a leader when it comes to battery life. DJI is releasing a "new" Mavic with "improvements" on things that didn't necessarily need improving at...

Hmmm.... Huh? Are you actually saying the color change impacts battery life?

Especially when they could be reworking the darn APP instead of propellers!!

Maybe instead of slapping new props on an older generation Mavic and calling it platinum, perhaps they could stop with this nonsense and instead fix the GO 4 App for Android? just a thought...

Seems to me that the props are new, the way the unit handles battery power may be new...and the color is a bit more silvery. Is that it? And how much more does a slightly less noisy, shinier Mavic with about 5 extra minutes of battery time, cost? I love my non-platinum Mavic!
