No SDK is why I haven't upgraded from the M2P. apps like dronedeploy and dronelink are part of my workflow. And I hope, if there is a "new" Mavic in the fall, they drop the SDK on launch. I hate the way DJI plays games with stuff like this..

Its easy. controller in one hand, catch drone with the other. bring drone down like normal, full left stick to kill motors. catch at lower center of the drone body. you won't lose any fingers :)

I would add one thing: you need proof of residential address. I took my initial 107 test at La Guardia airport in NYC, and they required this. I would assume its the same at any FAA testing center..
