No it doesnt and he even says in part of the video he is using his right "joystick" to push forward...there must be some crazy app he has that makes a wireless connection.

This guy is using Litchi with what appears to be NO cable connection and still is able to use the remote and functions on his phone...How is this possible?

Adrian it depends a lot on the goggles....that's why I chose the above ones because of the 120 degree FOV ...the quality is great ..I am using an IPhone 6s Plus in it...the gimbal also tracks with head movement..that can make you dizzy :) Oh and let me also mention that the Litchi app can also...

Ahh excellent question ...I use the Litchi app ...it has a built in feature to use google cardboard type goggles :) It changes the video to side by side but still displays important info on the screen if you desire. Sent from my iPhone using MavicPilots

Ok guys thanks for your replies....First I switched to my ipad mini because my phone was dead,then I changed to custom and tried 10mhz ..headed in same direction with same results so I tried another direction....this time I was able to go 7000ft and still had 3 bars sometimes 4 so I turned...

ok I am downgrading my firmware and trying a range test again...I have been to 3 spots and 5000ft is max I can get..I will start to loose signal at 800ft which is nuts...changing to 01.02.0900 now

I didnt do RTH with Litchi yet...I may try that tomorrow....I did see from quite a few thread to NOT use the auto take off especially in DJI go 4 app....Their Mavics are climbing then all the motors shut off....BAD BAD.....I personally dont use auto take off so I wouldnt know.
