Yeah that's what I was hoping for - this company does not want the files uploaded to DJI servers, but staff don't want to have to download then upload - just push directly in from phone/table to Airdata :(
Hi, does this mean the sync is directly done on the device from DJI Fly to Airdata? As in, you don't need to have the DJI Fly logs syncing tot he DJI servers? We are not wanting to have the logs synced to DJI at all.
Absolute joke isn't it. Let's make them pay and register then we will know who it is flying the drone illegally. WTF? Who thinks up this rubbish!
As a Commercial drone user, and one who has paid plenty of coin already to be commercial, I now have to pay more for each drone to cover a...
Hmm.. an old thread but I have the opposite problem with a student on the weekend. After flying around at about 1m for 5 minutes it was reporting he was 6 metres up.
Wow. Well I'll be stuffed! Never seen that before. It knows height above sea level, go figure... Should be able to tell height above ground level then and let you fly up the side of a mountain!
The GPS coordinates do not calculate height above sea level, only the latitude and longitude. The barometric sensor also does not register height above sea level, only the height above the takeoff point and I don't believe the altitude is stamped in the header for the photos.
Thanks everyone. I am still a little in disbelief to be honest! Also still waiting for the actual offer, but will probably accept without negotiation to start hehe.
Well I have been out of work (full time work) for about 9 months and had given up looking. I have been working retail at a local pet shop 3 days a week and doing some computer repair work when I can get it (last position was IT Manager, Senior System Admin and Software Development Team Manager...
Hey Dufus, the NFZ stuff is more around aircraft for safety reasons so mostly air strips or heli landing pads (like hospitals etc). The national parks don't come under that category, that's a local law. So although it may tell you it's ok to fly you still need to be aware of local regulations.
Correct. The iPad wifi only version does not have a gps inbuilt, which is required for the follow me and reset of home point. Having it tethered to the phone will not provide this gps requirement and will only give it the internet connection required to live update the map. I have heard of...
If memory serves correct that is the gimble doing a reset. Have you been recording for a long time when it happens? I think it was 9 or maybe 12 minutes or so then it reboots. Supposedly fixed on later version firmware.
