This is terrible outdated advice. If the drone requires calibration, it will tell you. Frequent calibrations only increase the likelihood of doing one in a bad environment.
Further, I've yet to see any stories of previously undamaged DJI batteries catching fire. The old giant LiPo packs, yeah they were potential little fireballs. These? Not so much.
24FPS is fine, however you need to understand how to use it both from an exposure management perspective as well as flight control. If you're hotdogging around, it'll never look good.
My charger fits. Not the charger and the multicharger, unless I'm using the side pocket. To me, the bag isn't for carrying every possible accessory, its for packing up and going to shoot.
It's on both sides, have no idea when it occurred (and did not check prior to initial flight. Could just be from bouncing around in shipping. I have to press on the gimbal a bit in order to force it to make contact, so would presume if occurring in flight would need to be during hard braking in...
