DJI GO 4 Slow After After Android Software Update

I am also having the same issue after updating to the latest android on my Nexus 6P. I've tried running DJI GO 4 immediately after rebooting the phone, and also I'm in aeroplane mode. It's now too laggy to be usable. :( Edited to add : going back to DJI GO 4 version 4.2.16 fixed the problem. :)

TapFly - check before you hit GO!

Yes, definitely! Whenever I'm using any of the "intelligent" flight modes I always rest my finger on the abort (pause) button and I'm mentally ready to push it if things don't look right. On a couple of occasions this has turned what could have been an "Oh Ship" moment into a non-event.

Downed Mavic Air Flight log interpretation - Please help

It's a shame that the MA can't be forced to be in ATTI mode. It would be extremely useful to be able to fly in ATTI mode to be able to get practice at flying the MA in that mode. This could be done in a nice big empty field. The end objective would be for the pilot to be exprienced enough to...

Danube River Cruise - Munich to Budapest

It wasn't the wind that flung your drone backwards after takeoff. The drone will remain stationary relative to the surface of the Earth - however as you are in a vehicle moving forward, the drone will move backwards relative to the ship at the speed of the ship. The wind has nothing to do with...

Dropped my air on the floor

Something worth doing on every flight is a brief control check. Once it's in the hover check that both sticks are producing the right result, i.e. up/down, yaw left/right, pitch forward/back, roll left/right. It only takes 20 seconds or so.

    First Flight

Next step - take off. Ascend to say 6m. Verify both sticks work correctly - up/down, yaw left/right, roll left/right, pitch forward/back. And do that on every flight....it takes less than 30 seconds, and it's good insurance that your aircraft is behaving and reacting to stick input correctly!

Wait for Mavic Pro II ?

Does the aircraft you have been looking at do what you want/need it to? If so then buy it. If you wait for say three months for the Pro 2 then that's three months you've lost..... and time is one thing that you'll never get back. I have absolutely no regrets at buying a Mavic Air; as a camera...

    Strange SD card warning

According to the professional video editing software I use, the 4K video was recorded at just over 100MB/s so a U3 is definitely required. So the SD card check is correct.

    Problem with MicroSD slot.

I had to push in the SD card with a broad-headed pin to get it to disengage and pop out. After that I decided to replace it with a bigger card and never remove it, instead I use the USB-C port to download pics and video.

    Mavic Air Asteroid playback problems

I had exactly the same "problem", tcope's answer to look at the file on the SD card is the solution. Briefly - the video sent to the display device is "real time", it's the raw video that is going to be used to create the asteroid. The drone will use the raw video to create the asteroid but it...

    Landing target

One thing to be very aware of is that with a normal takeoff, the aircraft will hover at about 1m. if a precision takeoff is specified then it will be at about 7m which is >23ft. Not usually a problem.... unless you are flying in woodland, or indoors!
