Do you ever shoot sunsets/sunrises? Golden hour is more of a thing than shooting on dry lake beds at noon. For me this is more of a toy, (I have a M3 Pro, inspire, etc) a drone for social programs or something to fly legally over concerts that I can provide a feed for live streams.

Yes, I know what yaw means. It wouldn't yaw. I had to fly it back to land at an angle, around my pergola, in the dark. I just looked thru the safety panels and didn't see anything that would prevent control of the drone.

True enough. I was thinking I'd just get the base model with the standard controller to have as a slightly more portable option (definitely lighter and less delicate), then I could fly both drones simultaneously. :)

I know, I saw your post and commented. The fact that they're releasing a version with no controller in August is a might big clue, then they can sell Mini 3 Pro's WITH the RC Pro and charge 2K for it.

Thank you for this. With the release of the Mini 3 in August that doesn't come with a controller, I think we can deduce that's when the RC Pro will have an upgrade. Why else would they sell that drone without a controller? I'll wait.
