No. Read it again. The max altitude is set at 400'. Obviously one can change the max, but that wasn't what I posted.

Just in case no one has realized it. Using the illustration above. Your drone setting is max. 400'. If you take off from the water edge and immediately ascend to 400' then it becomes impossible to fly 400' above the top of the hill.

You could go here: SkyVector: Flight Planning / Aeronautical Charts and get accurate heights of the towers you mentioned. Then compare that number to what the drone reports. edit: Or you might try this: FCCInfo - Now on Google Earth!

I use a free program called "VLC" to play back those kind of videos. It has the capability to play at different speeds. It makes the videos much more enjoyable and easier to follow. I just download them and either decide to keep or delete when done watching. Just my 2 pennies worth.
