I’m a new flyer and started using Kittyhawk. I recently found out about Airmap so gave it a try today. Airmap told me I could not in the area I was and Kittyhawk said I was cleared for 100ft? I got a LAANC approval from Kittyhawk and flew but could’t get from Airmap.

It is a Mini 2 top shell. Just the plastic with nothing else on it.

New Pilot and had my first crash into a tree and got an 1/8 " crack in the middle of the top shell. I have done a couple of test flights and it is flying great but the crack bothered me so I ordered a replacement top shell. When I removed the original shell I noticed it had some foil tape...

Thanks for letting me in the group! I just picked up my 1st drone, got a mini 2. Been having a blast so far and have been enjoying reading all the info here. Been a still photographer since way back in the film day (remember that). Been dabbling with video and this opens a whole new world...

Just got mine too and had same issue when I was in the park. Today I figured out how to use the compass and was out over 2000 ft with no issues. Shoed flight direction, home and my location. Still learning and having a blast.
