    I crashed, I have a question.

I'm reconsidering adding the doubler. Replacing the rear arm is obviously the correct way to repair the MP. However, my "crash" was a minimal event, with the MP falling about 15 feet into tall grass as I watched... It "landed" with the rear in a downward position and the rear arm support...

    I crashed, I have a question.

Thank you!! Looks like I was wrong... Think I'll revisit my repair plan, an perhaps simply replace the right rear arm assembly. Can't be too difficult to disassemble, then re-assemble.... Thanks again!

    I crashed, I have a question.

Back motor arm is fine... It's the body portion that holds the arm in position when unfolded that has a hairline crack... The template is for a gusset to laminate on top of the cracked support surface. Gusset will be 1/16" Lexan, epoxy cemented to the support surface. I'll make two, one for...

    I crashed, I have a question.

I will... been taking my time with this, as I want it to not only be stronger than the original, but look professional as well. In my opinion this is probably the weakest part of the Mavic Pro, and is poorly designed. Looks to me to be part of the main structure, and not replaceable without...

    I crashed, I have a question.

I have the exact same issue with my Mavic Pro.. Happened when I hit a tree. My solution is to cut a gusset from high strength Plexiglas, (1/16 " thick) cut to cover the entire surface, and laminate it on top of the cracked member. I'll be cutting a matching gusset for the other side to keep...

I have the magnetic connecter as well... I leave the thing plugged into the controller, and have had no issues whatsoever. My only issue is that the magnet is so strong, it's hard to disconnect after a charge without pulling the small connector out. It's never effected the flying....

Thanks! I always keep the batteries at 30% when stored, and was concerned about having them fully charged for an extended time.
