was thinking about picking up one of these as a gift. a quick google search tells me i shouldn't need to register this drone correct? just wanted to double check
haha no i get what youre saying...certainly going to read up on RTH...it was just the way you worded it. go fly that bod boy 100 ft away and shut off the device LOL
going through and adding a bunch of you now. same name as here...i dont have much posted. just created an IG 2 or so weeks ago. once my drone arrives and i get familiar i'll start uploading that. love seeing peoples pics/vids. inspiring!
appreciate that. yeah i am a little concerned certainly because of the $$ involved...its not some throw away drone...but i figured if i'm gonna go the drone route might as well go "all in" as they say. i have been thinking about getting one ever since about a 1.5 yrs ago. a co workers husband...
ive heard this as well...certainly its not wayyy off course but i guess the first pro had precision landing? seems like it would make sense to have that in the 2nd version for sure. i'll take your guys word for it that its pretty simple to land/control.
i'm actually reading that the drone can...
ive been watching a handful of vids past couple of days...only thing ive seen is that apparently the drone doesnt have pin point accuracy when RTH...sometimes it lands a little bit outside of that range. then again those vids were made months ago and maybe a firmware update has helped update...
went ahead and registered...looks like i didn't need a drone serial number but it provided me with a certificate number...gotta place it on the drone when i get it. what is your guys advice for that? just type it up print it out...maybe laminate then tape it on the underside?
hmm the link provided by meta doesnt seem to make that clear. what form do i need to fill out?
edit: wait may have found it...this it? Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Frequently Asked Questions #2 option 1 then just use that link to register?
