Great Use of Mavic 3 Telephoto

OK Mavic 3 owners, take a look at what can be done with the telephoto by a very experienced filmmaker. I was blown away when I saw this.

Maybe the MiniPro3 is the wrong drone to start with?

If tracking you on your motorcycle is the most important feature then skydio is probably the best idea. I have the Mini 3 c Pro, Air2S and Mavic 3. I enjoy all of them. I’m going on a road trip to a family reunion in the Midwest and have plenty of room to pack the somewhat larger Mavic 3 -...

Great Use of Mavic 3 Telephoto

Look at the 1st few seconds of the video - you can see the drone is way up and far away from the kite surfers. The purpose of my sharing this video was to expound upon this very reason to have the M3 telephoto - one could stay safely back from the action yet have engaging video capture. Thx!

3 Simple Mavic 3 POI of Bartile Tile Roof

OK, feeling a bit slow, how can I upload the MP4 or MOV directly to mavicpilots.com? It looks like I can upload JPGs. Seems like for videos it wants a URL - like YouTube or Vimeo etc. What am I missing? I have iMovie (of course) but not DaVinci or Final Cut or Adobe Lightroom (at least yet...

3 Simple Mavic 3 POI of Bartile Tile Roof

What’s the best way to do that?

3 Simple Mavic 3 POI of Bartile Tile Roof

Very simple POI of a Bartile tile roof we installed. Shot in 4k 30fps at mid day. No ND filter.

Great Use of Mavic 3 Telephoto

You can see in this setting with Kite Surfers it could be disruptive and outright dangerous to fly close enough to these Kite Surfers to film them. However, with the Mavic 3 Telephoto the Mavic 3 can stay away at a very safe distance and yet capture this very nice film!

    Mavic 3 telephoto experience

OK, that is so cool - this could be perfect for my inspection needs. I thought in Explore Mode I wouldn't be able to record a video. Can't wait to try this out! So, the disadvantage to recording a video this way is that there isn't any camera customization? I wonder how big of a deal that...

    Mavic 3 telephoto experience

I’m LOVING the M3! The list is pretty long on why I fly it all the time now while my Air 2S and Mini. 3 Pro mostly sit in their cases. But, I have a question on using it! I inspect property damage. Here is something I’d like to do but I don’t think it’s easily possible: When inspecting a...

    Mavic 3 my honest conclusion

You do realize that you have placed yourself in the camp of, “every successful company that releases new and better products is a ‘scammer’ company?” I’m kinda surprised that several extremely knowledgeable members of this forum have taken great measures to explain real features and usability...

Is Mavic 3 Required? I am pretty sure it will be

You are probably right, I think an M2 Pro or Zoom would have met my needs. But, what the hey, the M3 is really nice!

    Mavic 3 my honest conclusion

I don’t understand why they would have “deliberately” configured a crappy camera? What would they have to gain?

Is Mavic 3 Required? I am pretty sure it will be

By M3C I assume you mean the Mavic three cine? Cool! Since I own the Air2S and the Mavic 3, I am pretty much spoiled now with M3!

    Fail safe RTH

Great suggestions gentlemen! I’ll do both of those suggestions. The drone was flying east - not into the sun. But, I can’t wait to see if the flight data reveals why the M3 stopped for 15 seconds after beginning its RTH. Just thinking - if I were to try to go further west, further into the...

    Fail safe RTH

Yesterday I was flying my Mavic 3 using the RC Pro. We live in the Colorado foothills. My flight began at my house and I flew up to the top of our property which was about 380 feet higher than where I took off. I took the M3 up to about 700 feet which was about 320 feet above the top of our...
