Exactly. The laws in the UK are incredibly liberal and common sense - keep it under 120m (which is still quite high) and not near airports. Check the 'government official' "Drone Assist" app for live NFZs/events closing airspace - it's brilliant.

Get the NATS Drone Assist app. It’s an official thing but surprisingly helpful - and shows the timings of a military flypast in that area this weekend :)
You're so far into the Heathrow Zone that you could park on the runway :D
You could go to Richmond Park, there's an RC flying field there (or you could be more adventurous)
