Only had it a day so I may have missed it, but I don't think so. Given the higher res pictures it takes you can crop in to 12mp and achieve a zoom that way but it's not as effective or helpful as doing it on the fly. The biggest benefit for me, and the main reason I didn't get a zoom again was...

I tried this yesterday and made it over 9km out but had to ditch the drone 1200m short of home. I'm in Australia and I can confirm that no dingo's were harmed. I did almost knock a shrimp out of the hand of someone about to put it on the barbie though.
I hate to say it but there was no planning or test flights. I just got up and thought the wind seemed reasonable and just went for it. A bit silly really. Next time I may go to the beach and fly straight down and back.

Up until yesterday the farthest I have flown was 1800m. Yesterday I got all daring and went a bit over 5600m. It was so exciting I had to do it again, so this morning I managed a 7.2km run with ease!
Spurred on I was thinking that it would be easy to get on the leaderboard so I swapped...
You can try using Tripod mode to slow down the controls, its a quick and easy way to slow things down allowing you to concentrate on the footage more.
The images still looked slightly on the flat side for me but the scenery was great. I muted the music straight away, sorry.
My first ever drone flight started in my house with my Mavic Zoom in sport mode. It's so easy to fly it's not funny. If you're in an open field don't waste your time with beginner mode, just fly it higher than any surrounding tree's and let rip.
Cool video, I laughed at the hawk part as I've been having trouble with birds too. Your house and neighbourhood like nice too, I like seeing people flying over neighbourhoods in other countries, it's interesting.
