You can directly cast the screen from the DJI Smart Controller to the BT300's using both devices built in cast utility.
The lag is under 1 second possibly 1/2 a second but very usable
My original DJI Smart Controller has an inbuilt cast screen utility that can cast the screen to the BT-300's with surprisingly low lag. Does the newer smart controller have the cast utility?
Hi all
My Epson Moverio BT300's were the bees knees for my M2P and DJI Go 4.
Go 4 ran natively on the BT300 and the glasses were by far the best flying experience I have ever had flying drones.
I was terribly disappointed when i eventually bought the Air 2S and discovered DJI Fly will not run...
I can confirm it's working with the Smart Controller or should I say in spite of it lol!
Anyway very simple if a little clunky!
I've tested it with my Air 2S so should also work with the Air 2 and mini 2
You will need an original controller and android phone that has the FCC patch app and DJI...
Ok I have now been told the controller was repaired at a phone shop and as they didn't have Micro-A sockets they decided to use the Micro-B sockets they had in stock!
I guess its no big deal as I can use that controller as the 2nd controller and use the bottom usb port
Hi
I have a Mavic 2 Pro combo I bought used that has been working perfectly. The only slight niggle is the previous owner didn't have any of the original cables.
He was using a standard data cable in the bottom USB port. Which is the same arrangement i have been using with no issues.
I did...
I have a pretty good solution now which isn't as laborious as I thought it would be.
Once the setup is in FCC mode it seems to be holding it even after a power down.
Only things you have to watch are keep the android device (Moverio BT300 in my case) in airplane mode but navigation can remain...
Hi all
I know I'm a little late to the party but I just managed to buy my first Mavic 2 Pro.
As with all my drones in the UK I try to run some kind of FCC hack for video feed reliability.
It seems the FakeGPS method is working with the M2P although to enable it requires a bit of a run around...
Yes that is correct. Once you have patched it remove the usb-c cable from the bottom port and plug in the ios device to the top port without switching anything off and run dji fly
No problem.
I'm pretty sure this would also work for iPads and iPhones as long as you applied the patch first with an android device.
I'll check that at some point today and report back
Yes you need to have the MA2 switched on and connected to the controller when you run the patch.
Then when you see patched successful swap the cable over and start dji air without turning anything off.
Once the bird powers down and up again the patch is cleared and has to be re-applied before...
Hi galbb
I tried your mod on my MA2 and it seems to be working well.
I would like to make a small contribution just as a thank you.
I was just wondering how future proof you think this mod might be?
Should I still carry out firmware and software upgrades when they become available or would you...
