Does the Mavic 2 Zoom have it's own GPS recognition (Sensing) system or does it use the one on my phone. If the Mavic does have the GPS unit installed, can I disable it for selected flights?
Question: Out at my farm there is no cellphone service. Can I take one of my old Samsung phones (no longer with cellphone carrier service) and connect it to the Mavic 2 Zoom and fly.

I checked the charts, in the area I was flying it was a 700ft and above restriction. Lots of Paragliding along the beach so I think 700ft is more than enough altitude for "Beach Fun", especially with the 400ft restriction on all drone flights (excluding inspection of structures of course).
