The M3 requires a certain number of satellites before it will allow you to take off, and even with VPS it limits you to a height of 30m until you have 11 satellites. I don't trust the VPS alone because of how often I encounter strong outflow winds just above the treeline. Maybe it would work...

I bought my M3 (non-cine) in mid December, with the fly more bundle. It arrived with the foam yoke in place, but there was only one, so I am sure I will lose it within a few weeks.

Same issue. I bought the Mavic 3 without realizing how "not ready for commercial use" it was. I feel like I was duped - features I *really need* for an upcoming shoot are completely missing (like color display assist).

I'm guessing this wasn't shot today, since our high temp in Des Moines was +4F :)

I have the same question. I am glad for the update in December, but there are a lot of features and honestly some BASIC functions I counted on when I bought the M3. I am flying to Hawaii for an important commercial shoot in early February and at least 9/10th of the promised functionality would...

I just got a Mavic 3 with the RC Pro Controller a few weeks ago. I live in Iowa where it's cold and snowy, so haven't been able to fly much, but I do recall there is a configuration switch (I believe on the main page "profile" then "settings") on whether or not to enter camera view automatically...

Model FW279 is on Amazon for $259. I just picked up a Mavic 3 with pro controller. I wish I could find a 10 inch screen which was super bright. Even the Feelworld 10-inch is only 400 nits.
