I see it sometimes on the 3 pro, but it feels way more prominent on the 4.I have occasionally seen the same message when shooting with the 166mm lens on a Mavic 3 Pro with the RC Pro controller. Not unique to the Mavic 4 Pro.
That's a good point, the 1 second timed shots available on the 512gb and not the 64gb could indicate faster write speeds which could make this issue less annoying.Might be slightly faster overall on the 512GB drone than the 64GB version because larger hard drives tend to be faster, and the 512GB version is sold with the RC Pro 2, while the 64GB is sold with the RC 2. However, the processor should be the same on both, which is where the primary delay triggering message is occurring.
which settings result in extra processing on the drone? What type of in-drone Image processing do you have turned one? If you do any post processing, then you should have all drone processing turned off.
Anything other than saving in pure RAW format. Noise Reduction, sharpening, and other image editing settings should all be OFF.which settings result in extra processing on the drone?
Yeah I don't see anything like that in the camera settings when Photo is selected. Video has sharpness and noise reduction settings, you can't set them to off, just a value, but when Photo is selected nothing you mentioned is present.Anything other than saving in pure RAW format. Noise Reduction, sharpening, and other image editing settings should all be OFF.
If anyone has actually FOUND how to shut off picture processing by the drone, let me know. I haven't manually turned anything on. I shoot in RAW+JPG (maybe the JPG is the issue) and I would like the drone to leave the processing to me (which is why I shoot in RAW to begin with). Next time I fly, I'll shut off the JPG part and report back if it made a difference.
I do all of my processing in Lightroom also. I don't think the delay is caused by writing to media because when I first noticed this I was writing to the internal drive (which should be immediate). Even the micro SD card should be fast enough to not notice a delay. Ugh. Maybe they will fix it with updates.
I do all of my processing in Adobe Lightroom so I don't want the drone to do anything but this delay between lens changes persists with this message. I am set up for high resolution so maybe it needs time to write the capture to the storage card.
