I talked to a dji expert here and he looked at me as if I were stupid. "How do you expect the signal to get out without an antenna?" Go figure!

Wow! I have a Mavic 2 pro but without the pagoda antenna screwed in the video goes blocky and the R/C disconnects at around 30ft. No troubles at all with the pagoda antenna screwed in. Strange!
