I have GPS on the Mavic2 with the Insta360 mounted on it. Yes its mounted right on top of the GPS antenna with the Mavic2 and I fly on "P" mode. I think the Mavic Pros have their GPS antenna on the rear. My last flight with the 360 over water in "P" mode. Waiting for good weather to fly some...

I hope future drones will have this camera option. Maybe have all the sensors become HD cameras too to get the 360 view.

Mounted the Insta360 one X over the battery to minimize the any GPS issues and flew over Chico. Worked great, you can see a little bit of jello in the video, but no GPS/sat link issue or noticeable reduction in flight time. I normally fly for about 15-20min and return with about 30-40% charge...

Very reluctant to fly over water at first and I also felt the same flying over forests too. After a few flights over the forest and filming this, no issues now. I also flew this with a 360camera mounted on the Mavic.

Thanks all! We went back out with a small boat in the morning while the water was calm with a M2P and a ROV to see the salmon again. A seal was out there too.

Sun was out so went back out today and WOW more fish! Its an invasion.

Took the M2Z out to see the salmon in Chico. Don't like to fly over water but had to see the salmon and get an idea how many are out there...LOTS!

Our group fly here in Northwest, Wa. Some food, drinks and flying to end the summer. We had lots of drones in the air and no crashes. Mounted the Insta360 One X on the Zoom using Moverio BT300s.

I'm hoping the DJI Mavic GPS system will hold it from drifting, it holds pretty good in windy conditions. My 6" drone was able to carry the same Insta360 and do some flips and rolls, looked like it was holding up an Iphone X. My thought initially was on the first 1/2 flip the CG would confuse...

Yes there is a drop in the GPS signal but not enough to prevent the Mavic 2 from flying. Once in the air the signal gets stronger. No mod need on the mount, snaps in place and I can lift the Mavic with the camera. You will get a warning about shorter flight time with the added weight.
