Last Friday I placed a purchase from 102_store. It was delivered this morning. It sounds good that they’re standing behind their product. Hopefully the international shipping/paperwork doesn’t sour the deal!

I’m purely speculating. Maybe he didn’t have VLOS with the drone (flying through the controller maybe?). Maybe he took his eyes off the drone for a couple seconds. In any case, if he was in control of the drone and saw the threat, then he should’ve maneuvered and given right away to the paraglider.

This guy was not in control of his drone and I absolutely don’t condone his actions or behavior. But being a Devils advocate here. You state drones are no allowed there. I just used the AirPortal and Aloft apps to plan a Torrey Pines mission and don’t see any airspace issues for that area.

I travel extensively for a living. Both domestically and internationally (to and from Asia). I probably take over 100 flights a year. I’ve never had an issue bringing my drone and batteries on board the airplane.

I understand the idea of a raincoat. But you never left the house. You could’ve just filmed the same thing by standing on your deck with a regular phone and not subjected the drone to all the water.
