    New guy from Prescott, Arizona

Very nice thank you. The rock formations at Watson Lake reminds me of Sylvan Lake in Custer State Park, SD

    New guy from Prescott, Arizona

I will be traveling to Prescott and would like to do some drone photography & video there. Can you recommend someplace to get some shots that wouldn't be in one of the many Wilderness areas surrounding Prescott. Thanks

    Visiting Franklin

I will be visiting Franklin for a week near the end of February and bringing my M2Z. Can any locals give me any tips on points of interest for drone photography. Thanks

    Smart Controller to BT-300

Please excuse me but I'm a little confused. I just contacted DJI and they said the BT-300 was not compatible with my smart controller and Mavic 2 zoom. I would love a clarification on this because I'm reading or misreading a lot of contradictory info on this.

    Near miss of bridge

Ahh yes the survival instinct. Something that is missing from the drone pilots experience even though they may be putting others at risk.

Biggiest cons of the smart controller?

Like I said the first time was a fail for me and from reading the forum a lot of other people had problems too.

Biggiest cons of the smart controller?

I expected 1000 nits to be brighter than it is because I’m always looking for shade to stand in. I’ll need to set aside another half a day to attempt the apk & third party app install as last time it was a fail. I’ve never worked with android before so I’m spoilt by the fact that I usually...

    Do you fly within VLOS?

Just because it might be as visible as a bird doesn’t mean an airplane will have ample time to avoid it. A plane traveling at 150 mph/220 feet per second will have less than 3 seconds to react IF the bird/drone is spotted at 200 yards. It’s been my experience that you usually see the bird or...

    Near miss of bridge

You’re exactly right. I’ve been disappointed to find the drone community is the least grown up and mature I’ve ever seen. In most hobbys, self-policing works. But not here it seems. The result will be more and more restrictive regulations.

    Near miss of bridge

Sounds like a good idea to me.

    Do you fly within VLOS?

The FOV of FPV is much inferior to that of a human in the cockpit.

    Do you fly within VLOS?

An aircraft climbs with a nose up pitch attitude which makes it impossible for the pilot to see over the nose creating a blind area straight in front of them and therefore the ability to see other aircraft in their forward sector. Mid air collisions happen to vigilant pilots like this all the...
