That sounds great! I have always been bad at memorization as I am more of a conceptual/visual thinker. I remember being confused as to why my teacher made us memorize Pi down to the 8th digit, when all a person needs to do is simply take any circle and divide its circumference by its diameter...

One thing I would try, is if you have access to a Windows PC, right click one of the files that plays normally, go to Properties, and click the details tab. Note all the values. Now, do the same on one that does not play and then compare the two. Are there any differences? Some video player...

Do they happen to coincide with a firmware update?

I wonder if DJI changed the default video codecs? Will it play on a laptop or desktop PC?

The RPMs and stresses on those props in flight are pretty substantial. ANY structural damage can put it at risk... I think the trick is determining if it is cosmetic or if it is structural damage. Cosmetic it's ok to fly, structural it is not. But if in doubt, always fall to the side of caution...

My guess it's main selling point will be price. I am pretty sure it will be somewhere between the M2 series and MM. (i.e. $600-$900USD) It lacks some features of the Mavic 2 line, but since it is not striving for the 249g weight, it has many features that the Mini does not have like obstacle...

The classic battle of the engineers. One was tasked with making it ergonomic. Another with extending operation time/performance. I guess this was their compromise... ;>)

When a battery is slightly swollen cold, it still may fit in the drone "securely". But once it warms up from flying, it will swell even more and likely built up enough pressure on the retainers that they popped loose. So the rule should be, if it shows any swelling at all, retire it. Batteries...

My youngest daughter wants to get into FPV and just bought one a couple of weeks ago. Pretty impressive for the price! Open the box, charge the batteries and start flying! We paid $169 for the drone, goggles, controller, case, etc. We did pick up four extra batteries for about another $25.

Yeah, I think I'll build a little FPV at some point here. I do have a couple of little Husan X4's I guess I could dig out, but they don't have cameras. I have actually flown the mini around inside with the prop guards.

Yes, Nanuk 920. I am REALLY impressed with the quality of this case! I think you could drop it off a cliff an everything inside would be fine. I made a few little tweaks to fit everything, but love the case.

When I don't want to go far, I fly off my deck. We have a large park complex, lake, streams etc behind our house so it makes a great area to explore.
