I get how this works if I buy a drone "off the shelf" where the shop will be required to get my details - like they do if I buy a TV or something capable of receiving a TV signal.
However, if I build my own drone I wonder which part will require the shop to register my details?
Just read this article:
UK to bring in drone registration - BBC News
The UK is to require any drone over 250 grams to be registered and for the owners to attend a safety awareness course.
The is also talk of increased use of geofencing.
My plan was to fly it the full length of the field and then pull up at the end, over the building- I was waiting at the pull-up point, watching the Mavic, rather than looking at the screen. With it so low already I simply didn't see it was going to hit- first thing I knew was it spinning head...
Yes. I live in the Welsh valleys and never had a horizon to see the tilt before!
Have to play with the settings to get it level.
I quite like the shading with the sky, it's how I see it - as I always have polarised sun glasses on :)
Is this the same incident as a few weeks again, when you lost control and it landed on a building- or was this a second loss?
Did you manage to get it back from the police, and was it ok?
I got the same message today on my iPhone - second flight since the update.
Found that it was not as stable as normal, and started to drift a bit on the first flight, but no message. Today also not as stable as normal and the message appeared.
