Idiot. My drone flew away six minutes after first flight. Absolutely no reason for DJI saying it crashed, even on this forum guys changed there minds about what happened. Fly aways happen. The drone is a complex piece of equipment, some will fail. DJI should realise this happens

Which altitude reading suggests a splash down? I was actually contemplating flying my new drone over the lake to see if I could see the first one, so I might well be coming on here again with another drowned drone.

I can't disagree with this, they have both given me far more insight into what was going on with the drone in a few posts compared to a month with DJI getting nowhere.

Thanks Jeff7577. So sar104 thinks the drone hit the water at 353.7 but the drone keeps moving forward at the same speed, continues to descend at the same rate and moves a distance of 37ft after first impact. Can you explain this, or do you have a different view of when the drone hit the water?
