I screen record every flight on iPhone - so easy and never an issue, even in Airplane mode - it's very interesting to playback as well.

Turn it off altogether, it's pointless, learn to fly back manually and hand catch. It's very easy to do.

The pro is more "fiddly" the gimbal is far more susceptible to damage, the Air is more polished, has a better camera (and gimbal protection!) and frame rates and flies very well, just lacks a little less range and is noiser in operation. I would go the Air, it's newer tech. I own both and prefer...

Quite a few aerials in this clip I put together from a few weeks back, love the portability over the Pro, the weight difference in the pack is errrrrr... noticeable for sure and the Air is simply better in the camera department in everything, but the Pro was sharper...

My ND8 never comes off the Air, it's on permanently unless the light is very low.

4K is a ***** to edit and not really necessary for most people - it's not better quality - it's just a bigger image! 2.7K still allows for a decent crop, and 60fps is a real sweetener for smooth pans and some slo-mo to 50%... love it!

I think it's far louder and more obtrusive than my Pro, but love the wee thing to bits still! They will bring out low-noise props... just wait!

I flew 2.3km yesterday over water with not one single glitch or lag on an iPhone7 - looked like I could have gone twice the distance fine, in fact the feed was better than on my old Mavic Pro it seemed, BUT as soon as I went anywhere remotely behind a hillside it would stutter and lag and loose...

I used that exact card in my Air and also had frame stuttering and dropping, also the footage was a bit blurry, was hopeless (but was fine in the Mavic Pro!), went to a Sandisk U3 and perfect video from then on!

They look like they would suck the hell out of any range and battery life though being so bulky and not overly aerodynamic?
