For the mavic you need A1+3 and A2. A1+3 is very cheap (you can apply for one in ireland for example here: MySRS). Maybe that is the easiest option. In germany you will have some language barriers ;) A2 is more expensive and only needed if you want to fly close to cities and people (see rules...
Fons, ik zie nu je berichtje pas. Ik heb er nooit een notificatie van gekregen, sorry! Waar vlieg je mee? Brabant, dat is een stuk makkelijker vliegen dan hier in de randstad (Rotterdam) denk ik! haha
Although it was a difficult year to travel due to all covid restrictions, I still was able to capture some footage during the past year :P As several storms are hitting our country this week I had some time to put it all together into one video. Sorry, it's a bit long but mostly because I always...
no that distance can easily be done :P maybe you can also head to Berchtesgaden (more to the south east). Beautiful mountain views there (and Hitlers summer house). Also in Dachau there is a lot of 'war history' if you are into these kind of things (close to Munich). Passau (more to the ease...
Germany isn't that strict when flying drones. Just look at the no-fly zones in the Airmap app and take into account the european rules (height of max 120 meter, 30 meters from cities etc). I do think that even for a foreigner, the EASA drone license is necessary...
Viewing all of your beautiful drone footage here on the forum, I'd like to give something back. I know the video is pretty long but it was mostly edited for me, my friends and my parents who came along with me on this summer vacaction trip in Germany :) Enjoy!
Open for all tips and tricks by...
A lot of 2020 videos have been posted already, but waiting for this corona thing to fly by and be able to travel again, I round up some of my footage of last year. Been trying to get the hang of Resolve lately with some speedramps etc. Great tool, but way to many buttons :P Hope you guys enjoy!
I'm such a big fan of speed ramps. The one on 2:16 is amazing :D
(and the part with the stones at 0:48 looks like a great first person shooter game :P lol)
Ok, so taking all tips and tricks in mind that were given in my previous thread (With my MP2 in France) I made this video (way) shorter, no yaw movements, and flew lower :P
Went to Germany to friends this weekend which took me to 2 old volcano's somewhere in the Eifel region of Germany. It was...
Thanks! They speak dutch in Texas as well? :D lol
(little side note: I was supposed to travel to Texas this summer but my trip got cancelled because of corona. Such a bummer! Hope to travel to your state next summer!)
And after registration you have to put your registration number on the drone...
You are right, up to the second even ;) Just checked the youtube statistics, average playtime: 2:54. Next time I'll try to shorten it more! Thanks for the tip, never even knew you could see that on youtube.
What is it with yaw movement that people don't like by the way? I'ts mentioned in lots...
What gave me away? Must have been the title inside the video ? I'm from the Netherlands, somewhere near Rotterdam. Living to close to an airport to make footage from here though. But you are from Belgium? Aren't drone rules really strict over there?
Thanks for the kind comments of all you guys...
Thanks for the tips! About flying lower though, I’m always way to scared about people complaining :/ The MP2 when flying low still makes enough noise to draw peoples attention. Most places I visited in France where crowdy at the time I was there. Maybe I’ve got to get up earlier or something...
