It varies from drone manufacturer and model. Information appears to be mostly anecdotal rather than scientific. The Mavic series appears to require more satellites than other DJI drones. There are two satellite systems used, GPS(31 satellites operated by U.S.) and GLONASS(24 satellites operated...
Ok, I believe you are correct. You seem to be emphasizing the Exposure Triangle(attached) which I believe is constantly changing in HDR mode. So now please help me with this question concerning my MA2 with a fixed aperture of f/2.8 :
Will my MA2 in HDR mode(no filter) out perform HDR with a...
The MA2 firmware "zoom update" is only digital zoom! No different than cropping in post. If you are interested in true optical zoom, then check out the pricey Mavic 2 Zoom(2X optical zoom/24-48mm).

My MA2 has fixed aperture of f/2.8, so in HDR mode the ISO and Shutter Speed are "dancing in concert" as the light changes. Crazy numbers I would probably never use manually.
You might consider the Smart Controller. It's perfect with the MA2 you need the fly app but after that there are no interruptions with the exception of caution notifications, such as low battery, entering a restricted zone, altitude max, etc.
